Postcard 3011
This photograph is from July 4th, 2024 and was captured somewhere in Woodstock, NY. It’s a photograph of an exploding ground firework called Fans in the Stands with a smoking roman candle in the foreground.
Spent my first 4th of July on the East Coast with friends Nick, Matthew, Cheris, and Galib at Max and Michael’s home upstate in the forested town of Woodstock. While it lent its name to the infamous music festival, none of the performances occurred within the town. Instead, it’s known as a historic artist colony. Amtrack is a convenient way to get upstate from the city. To get to Woodstock, you’ll take the train to the Rhinecliff station and use a rideshare service to get into the town.
