Postcard 3007
This photograph is from October 1st, 2018 and was captured somewhere in Seattle, WA. It’s a photograph of a dahlia in someone’s yard, captured during a walk with my roommates before taking off for New York City later that afternoon.
When photographing a flower, I generally focus the lens on the stigma and anther parts of a flower’s anatomy. I always like to look at the most finely-detailed area of an image, and on a plant the most intricacy tends to be around its reproductive organs.
