Had the pleasure of taking an overnight trip to my friend Rachel’s parents’ home, right on the oyster-rich beaches of the Puget Sound. Rachel and her parents hosted a raucous dinner-plus-drinks night for our friends Jaclyn, John, Kathryn, Michael, Chelsea, Nick, and Amara.

On the menu: good wine, a bottle of Suntory Toki (finished in the wee hours ofc), and wild oysters foraged from the backyard 😱 Pro tip: if you open a wild oyster and it’s warm, spit it out immediately. Your plans to leave on time may otherwise be thwarted.
