This photograph is from October 22nd, 2022 and was captured somewhere on the Hawaiian island of Kuaui. It shows a highway and its easy flow of traffic around midday, photographed from above during a helicopter tour.

I spent about two weeks on Kuaui with friends Pat, Fern, Jon, Minna, Ved, and Johann. Shenanigans included a two-night, 22-mile backpacking trek on the Kalalau Trail, half-a-day aboard a private fishing charter (we caught some baitfish and then two dinner-size fish), beach hikes, surfing (at which I suck), and the solo-excursion I booked for some sick aerial pics of the island on a doors-off helicopter tour.

It was a whirly good time 😇
